A chiptuning file is a modified version of the ECU software in your vehicle. By optimizing parameters such as injection timing, boost pressure and ignition timing we can unlock more power and torque from the engine.

Every file is developed and tested on our own 4x4 dyno — we run the map, read the data, adjust and re-test until the power, torque and drivability are dialled in and safe. Each one is then calibrated by our engineers for your exact ECU and engine.

When done correctly, yes. Every file is calibrated within safe limits for injection, boost, ignition and torque, and developed on a 4x4 dyno with data logging. We never push an engine beyond what its hardware can reliably handle - stronger performance targets are only applied to vehicles with the supporting hardware.

A properly calibrated Stage 1 or Stage 2 file keeps factory safety margins intact and is designed for daily reliability. Emissions-related changes are only carried out where legally permitted in your market and for off-road or motorsport use. If you are unsure what is allowed in your region, ask us before ordering.

During business hours we typically deliver within 1 hour. On weekends and outside business hours it may take longer. Stage 3 files require more work and are done when capacity allows.

Yes, all our tuning files are fully reversible. You can revert to the original file at any time without consequences.

Modifying the ECU can affect a manufacturer warranty and may need to be declared to your insurer, depending on your country and policy. Because all our files are fully reversible, you can return the ECU to its original state at any time - for example before a service or resale.
